ABOUT THE FOUNDER

I am a resilient Black American Transgender individual living loud and proud in Los Angeles, CA, with over 23 years of experience navigating discrimination and trauma in Corporate America. My journey has inspired a strong commitment to advocacy and empowerment. Founding Hands Across Hollywood is a testament to my dedication to combating homelessness, particularly among Transgender individuals who often face significant challenges, and to educating the masses on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging.

Hands Across Hollywood is more than an organization; it embodies my unwavering commitment to inclusivity and addressing the unique challenges faced by marginalized communities. Our mission is to provide safe, affordable housing and empower individuals to reclaim their lives, regardless of their gender identity or background. I am also passionate about Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB). I am on a journey to educate organizations on how to be inclusive in their hiring practices, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their race, sexual orientation, or background, has equal opportunities. Combining this with my homelessness outreach, I focus on finding individuals steady employment so they can live productive lives with the security of having a roof over their heads and food on the table.

In addition to my advocacy work, I have over five years of experience in the real estate industry, bringing a wealth of knowledge to my work in finding distressed properties to renovate and re-vamp for future homes for Angelenos experiencing homelessness. My passion for helping others achieve homeownership and my talent for home staging and decor drive my efforts. Outside of real estate, I enjoy home remodeling projects and staying updated on the latest interior design and fashion trends.

My personal and professional experiences fuel my determination to make a lasting impact on the battle against equality in the work space, housing for ALL individuals experiencing homelessness and to create a society where everyone can live their best authentic life with dignity and respect.
